Live Lines Today, more than ever, people rely on a continuous supply of electricity. It has become increasingly difficult to turn off the power supply while conducting maintenance activities. To prevent user inconvenience while allowing continued maintenance to be undertaken Marlborough Lines have adopted "live line" techniques as part of our regular service.

These techniques were developed predominantly for work on the Marlborough Lines network, however this service is available to all electricity users who would like us to construct or maintain a power supply without disruption to their supply of electricity.
